The September 2008 newsletter is about feedback and using measurement as a reality test. Ken Blanchard calls feedback “the breakfast of champions.” For most of us, feedback from a partner, colleague, or trusted observer is an important part of personal and leadership effectiveness. It can help open our eyes to what we are “blind” about in ourselves. Seeking and accepting feedback requires the confidence to be open and the humility to learn. As the physicist, Richard Feynman, said: “The first principle is that you must not fool yourself - and you are the easiest person to fool.”
